Spoon Handles and Such
My BIL asked me if I wanted these. The light says "surefire" on it, and has a picatinny mount. I can't find one exactly like it on the Surefire website so I'm not sure what model it is or what batteries it takes.

Dunno about the Surefire. Let me know what you think of the grip/bipod. I was intrigued when first I saw one.

Sure fire is one of the top names in "tactical" lights innit?
The only way i'd put a foregrip on my AR is if i could get one patterned EXACTLY like the foregrip on Tommy guns. ![]() |

I'm definitely going to mount the light. I may or may not mount the foregrip. Either way, I need to get some sort of rail for the hand guard.

IMO the stick foregrips are stupid looking.
I would definitely mount the light. As long as you use it smartly they can be extremely handy. |

The 4grip on that Tommy seems ergonomic only if shooting for the stars (i.e., almost straight up).

The tommy gun foregrip actually helps to keep the muzzle down and on target. Look at the grip angle it forces.

You can just get those single rails that attach right to the AR stock forearm. I have the rail that's on the front sight post. That would work fine for the light.

I'll put in a 'yes' vote for the foregrips. I like the ergos. I've looked at ways to mount one on my MAK-90, but they all seem pretty flimsy.
