Blast Cabinet isn't blasting

I've had it for 2 years and it's been one of the best restoration tools I've ever used. but it's not blasting right now just when I need it.

As it sits:
glass beads are dirty and low, but well above the syphon tube. I've sifted it twice. Blown through with gun into hand, works slightly better.

never changed the gun nozzle

120 psi same as it ever was

Any thoughts?

I've had a similar problem with mine. Mine had pieces of debris lodged in the gun where the hose from the siphon tube connects to the gun. If you've never taken the gun apart, now would be a good time to do it. Depending on how much you use your cabinet, your nozzle may be well worn as well.

What I used to do to check for and clear clogs was to push the hole on the end of the gun into my other palm while pushing the pedal. This back-fed the air through the hose into the sand compartment and blew out any debris. Keep in mind that if this works it means you have a lot of garbage in your sand and it needs to be replaced.

Thank you! turns out there was a small rock lodged up inside the gun. it was enough to allow air through but precious little media. all set now, works perfectly, thanks for the help!

Shaun, Put your finger over the nozzle tip and block off the pressure. This will sometimes loosen up the clogged tip. Or....you can fedex the cabinet to me and I will fix it and get it back to you within a year or so.....depending on how long my resto takes Edited....looks like I was a minute too late.....

LOL! Here's a better idea. Pack up everything you want blasted, come on up some Saturday or Sunday, blast away, and I'll buy you lunch.
