When......

.....When the hell am I going to catch a break? I can't go into details but I'm sick and tired of getting kicked when I'm down......
Just when things start to look up....BAM.....more BS.....
I'm so sick of this **** it's not even funny and don't know what to do.....
**** has be going downhill for the past year......so this is a built up rant and isn't directed at anything specific, the wife and I have a great relationship.....just frustration with a multitude of things going on.....
I know things could certainly be worse, but seriously.......

Rant off......

Just don't be crawling into the cockpit anytime soon...and you might want to loose the gun locker keys...hide all knives and sharp tools...prolly just best to stay in bed with the ol lady for a few days. Get your self a pound of good herb, a few cases of beer and a couple boxes of Ding Dongs and Ho Ho's.

I'm pretty sure if you follow this script things will start looking up...

I'd usually say "sit back and burn a fattie", but that's illegal, so don't do that...really, it's bad for you.......okay, don't do it, come on, put it down, quit rolling those buds....okay, well done, looks just like a yellow Lucky Strike, perfect roll, Dude, you the man! Hey, you use wheat-straw papers? Cool, it's supposed to be safe or better for you....but easily notice by others on the beach while waxing your board, getting ready to go catch a few, next thing you know, their all around you, wanting a hit or two, and that weird guy who still uses an old O'Neil 9'8" board without a leash gets his saliva all over it and you wouldn't hit it if it was your last thing to do before being shot by a Mexican firing squad in downtown Ensanada, Mexico. You might not believe this, but you are not alone my friend, just about everyone feels like this one time or another, your not the only one. I just got laid off the other day, 2/11/10, 5 days after turning 59. Was kinda shocked, had a feeling it was going to happen, but a bit surprised when it did. I'm trying to look for a good side to this, maybe working since I was 15, if I'm not ready to go now, when would I be? Think I'll finish up my 51 Woodie, and drive around the US for a bit, follow the coast line, hit every beach, meet some new people and be glad I don't have some of the problems many others do have.

I understand, my friend. Not the details obviously but the feeling of not getting a break, being kicked while down. What ever you call it.

I'm not the most optimistic person but it WILL get better. Hang in there and count the good things and people you have.

I hear ya. The problems always come in two and threes and fours, but they always stop for a while afterwards.

What doesn't kill us makes us stronger, and steel balls will bounce like rubber off the right surface. There are many paths up a mountains, and a ridge with a view awaits.

Spend some time wasting time, and only wasting time, then get back in the saddle when it feels right.
Seperate, prioritize, and get the immediate stabilized. You'll have a micro-system in place to handle the b.ss efficiently. Life's too short for nonsense.

ok there are two monks walking down a trail. they come to a shallow river, and there is a woman standing there. she is trying to get across. one monk, sweeps her up and carries her to the other side, plops her down. the two monks silently continue with their journey. they get to where-ever they are going, and the second monks says, "i cant believe you touched that woman. we are forbidden to!" the first monk says, "brother, why are you still carrying that woman? i set her down miles ago."............

everytime, i get all riled up about things, my wife says, "honey, there are these two monks". i get it.

Yes, we do, you are correct in saying so.
It has always amazed me when some folks - not pointing any electronic fingers at anyone on this board as that is not my intention - try to make a person feel better and come off minimalizing the other's trials and tribulations.
Your mountain is high and tough to climb and none of us can fully understand your feelings, so no amount of "you're better off than most/some," etc. will help you feel better. Or anyone for that matter.
So, this being said, hang in there and good luck. I wish you well.
