Swedish pilot flew commercial jets for 13 years...
...without a license !
Het Nieuwsblad - Piloot vliegt dertien jaar met vals brevet rough translation 41 year old Swede got busted in Schiphol, just before departure of an Correndon Airlines Boeing 707 flight to Ankara, on the grounds that he doesn't have a commercial license. He has flown for several airlines, all across the world, racked up 10 000 hours... but only has a regular flight permit.. that had expired long time ago...And he had managed to fly commercial with a commercial permit he had made himself.. upon arrest he appeared to be relieved that the lie was over Wow, that's gonna make for some embarresing talks in several HR departments...

After 10,000 hours, he's probably better than a kid with a fresh pilot's license and no non-learning hours.

We see, almost weekly, people getting busted for practicing medicine & dentistry without licenses. One guy was a plastic surgeon at a fancy medical suite who actually did top-notch work!

On the flip side, having a license doesn't necessarily mean someone is qualified.

Word has it fluffer was his real profession. I've even heard of a case where one of those wacky Swedes pretended to be a pediatrician. All that magnetism up by the poles makes 'em do crazy things.
