PayPal and the 3%
Rant on - Just curious when did this start?
, adding into an ad " if using paypal please add the extra..." I for one don't ask anyone to add the extra, I feel it is for my benifit that the money is secured and I have it almost immediately. It is my cost of doing business. Like our favorite part/tool/tire place for example - they pay the extra for the debit machine and the credit card machine, not the buyer. Its trying to get customers and making the purchase hassel free. If I have a part listed for X then it is X not X plus (paypal %).If the person asked to use paypal I could always say "NO" and wait a week or so for money order to arrive or accept via paypal. - rant offjust curious what others feel - maybe I'm missing something ![]() B |

whole thread on this a few weeks ago. i believe it's actually against the terms of agreement for a retailer to charge a surcharge (or post a minimum charge)

Personally, I include the paypal surcharge in my pricing. If someone wants a discount, they can always ask.
