I'm assuming you mean the Indycar series?
I remember when I heard that CART was going to race at Portland for the first time. That was a huge deal to me, I was all over that, so I know just how you feel. Good luck, and if you get a chance, you should volunteer to be a corner worker or something.

They don't mention the racing series. It could be either F1 or IRL.

Lots of race series get called Grand Prix. I'm always surprised that Ecclestone doesn't sic the dogs.
In the news article, they show the front of an Indy car. Doesn't mean squat, I know. All race cars look alike to the non-converted. ALMS would be cool. (They ran here in Portland, too, but the fan base was never enough to keep them coming back - super bummer. Those cars are built with space-shuttle technology, and the pit passes were free)

That's the problem with the article. They come off sounding like they don't have a clue. Which is probably true. It's embarrassing.

Fingers crossed, if they do I'll be there. But someone also told me that Tulsa was trying to get the 2020 Olympics, so I'm not sure what they put in the water down there.

Probably a NASCAR West series race. That's not bad though, they probably have more talent in that series than in F1.

Well Tulsa has hosted the US Open so a race wouldn't be a massive stretch but they had better start replacing every square inch of pavement now!

Well it finally specifies the ALMS as the group targeted for the race. I wonder how they plan to test the noise levels through Bricktown?
