Microsoft Excel

A customer list was provided to me in an Excel spread sheet format. I have no idea how to resort the data. It is currently sorted by client name. I need to sort by zip code. When I attempt to sort via zip it looks like it places the zip in order but does not move the other data along with it.

Can anyone help?

click in the little square between "A" and "1" (to select all cells). Click on the Data menu, click on Sort (this is for 2003). Use this dialog and it should work the way you want it to.
