Sonicare Flexcare w/ UV. best toothbrush I've ever had. cheap when you consider how much dental work costs.

My dentist recommended and sold two different electric toothbrushes so I bought one of each for me and my son. I used the Sonicare and he used the other one. After a few months I replaced his with the Sonicare since it worked so much better.

Sonicare, get the older "classic" type. My periodontist (staunch advocate of Sonicare) keeps comparing the old and new types in a glass of water to the Sonicare rep...
You'll still need to be careful if you're prone to pressing too hard on the gums, the Sonicare won't save you from that.

Replaced an Oral-B with a Sonicare years ago and haven't regretted it.

I am surprised no one has mentioned it but I hear Sonicare is quite good. For myself I have a cheapie Oral B battery operated brush that does a decent enough job that the dentist doesnt bother me.

cybersonic. I have an older one that still works great. But I tend to use a manual one most of the time.

hmm...i'm having second thoughts about the Oral-B I got from Costco...
my dental hygienist told me even with electric brush you have to not move around (brushing motion), just move the brush where it needs to clean and let it do the work.

I already have the Oral B tooth brush. I really liked it and then my neigbhors bought me a sonic for Christmas......I use one in the morning and the other before I go to bed......so I have no opinion one way or another, like them both.

For my one toof, I use a 3 - 4 yr. old Braun 3D excel. Lots of wild oscillations...thus "3D".
I use these heads (below)...dip them in hydogen per. and then into baking soda. Great combo. Final rinse with mix of Aqua Velva & Drano. ![]() . . ![]()

Interesting thread. I'm a gadget fan and only use an electric razor but never saw the need for a power toothbrush. What am I missing here?

Sonicare is great. We purchased 1 base unit with 4 separate brush attachments which each one of has assigned.
Hmmm. I wonder about a Sonicar attachment used for cleaning engine parts. Could that be my million dollar idea which will send me to stardom? Speedy ![]()
