What? They have a machine that makes beer? I thought it came from the breasts of Tahitian virgins.

Hey a cross over thread!

Rob Channell 03-31-2010 06:29 PM

The Saturn V rocket (7.5 million pounds of thrust, still unsurpassed)
The Porsche 911 (what a design and too much fun)
The microwave (helps to leave more time for other stuff now)

Heel n Toe 03-31-2010 10:40 PM

+1 on the helicopter... for all the good guys who are alive today (and will be tomorrow) because of what they can do, have done, (and will continue to do) under the most hostile conditions imaginable.

All the rest come in a distant second, but I gotta vote for HVAC, the refrigerator, and the internal combustion engine... especially 12-cylinder Italian engines.

James Brown 03-31-2010 10:47 PM

Hummm let's see,
1. 911's (no brainier)
2. electronic devices (computers, tv's, radio)
3. beverage dispensers (beer, coffee, jeaigermister, beer)
