Hey DD74, how's your Ridley
Have you given it a good bashing yet? Which one did you get? I think I am going down the same road. I really like the Excalibur. I started riding last week but was only be able to put in only one day per week so far. I have to find extra time to do this and forgotten how much fun it was. Still enjoy suffering a bit.

I bought the Ridley Orion. It's nice, very nice. Unbelievable in every aspect I ever imagined. Fast, light, climbs like a scalded goat and sprints very well. I've beaten on it pretty well up Nichols, down Mulholland and Cahuenga. No flex uphill and descends really well. And its ride is like butter. One reason for that is it uses 24-ton carbon fiber tubes instead of the 50-ton monster tubes on the Noah - which supposedly has a notably harder ride and much, much, much higher price tag.
Call Bicycle John's. I think they have another Orion that's already built. Tell them David sent you -- they know who I am. ![]()
