Me. Sitting here inputting business receipts and expenses. This morning the star of federal court, this evening a book keeper. Such is the life of the solo practitioner.

Been at it a couple of hours now, still not happy with my final numbers.

Need to keep tweaking

I gave up last night and went in to a tax place for help. Since I already had everything 95% done, the lady found me about $700 in 10 minutes and didn't charge me. That was nice. Now I am done.

It's only the 13th. What's the rush?

I file and extension and wait until June or July when my accountant isn't pulling her guts out.

Berettafan did mine and I'm still getting fisted like a meat puppet. Our fault though, not his.

My mom was the bookkeeper for a very large corp before dad started the sign biz. Last year I only worked for them. She had mine ready for a sig mid November. :D. This year will be harder with me working two places...

Ditto on the extension thing. Send them some bucks if ya think you owe money. After the rush is over and your tax account had had a mental health break, then file. The extension is good until 15 October . Screw em' and good luck!

We already got and deposited our refund check.

Been done since January. I'm waiting to send the check.

Worked to midnight a few times in the past weeks but got home at 9 tonight. Spending Friday with my son (yup, he's skipping school!) to do go karts, ice cream and whatever else he wants. Monday i'll be visiting my car at Euro Pros then it's back to work finishing the tax returns of people who just can't bear to face the music until the last minute.

Rick thanks for the qualification! If it makes you feel better i just did a trust return today that ran into the same issue. If Barry O wants to encourage home ownership/investment he could do worse than to modify passive loss rules.

I was done with 2 week ago. It's the first year since being a business owner 18 Years I will get money back. Pretty bad year !

Rick I suspect you've called it right. I've been getting vague responses to pointed questions when i call. Derek says i should get to watch them do some pulling on the Cellette but i'll believe it when i see it. Derek says should be done this month but when I talked of signing up for autocrosses based on that he suggested i don't make hard plans before 2nd week of May. it's killing me to stare at my Kumhos knowing i should be working on installing a Kirkey right now.

this is the latest i have ever filed. more fun then i can stand.

I'm gonna do a final review and transmit tomorrow. Have to fork over a sizable additional payment because (semi unfortunately) my wife's S-Corp made a profit. It hurts extra cuz we just got raped by LA County on property taxes on 4/10...I HATE this time of year, financially speaking.
