Stargate Universe

Anyone else watch this show? I just began watching so I don't know the origin of the ship they are on or where they are but the last episode was really pretty good. Seems they ended up on an Earth-like planet and some of the crew wanted to stay. The ship's leadership is half military and half civilian so there's conflict there. Good story but the only thing missing are the hot chicks. The few on the show are about a 6 or 7. Ming-Na still looks good for being in her 40's but no longer a hottie.

I saw an episode of it on Hulu the other day but didn't watch. I'll have to go check it out, thanks for the heads up.

another show where a bunch of people who couldn't pass an enlistment psyche exam are somehow space marines.

if you can get over that, its not bad. a step up from the lowest common denominator stargate type writing.

Someone was trying to talk me into watching the show. He mentioned that their craft was ancient and falling apart as it went along its merry way.

The show is a million times better than any of the other Stargate shows. Alien of the week gets old REAL fast for me. I'm loving the soap opera and the characters are all nasty and selfish so it makes for a fun time when you can't just leave the ship. Although, I'm ticked off at the communication stones. It's just a cheesy way to keep them tied to Earth so the environment doesn't get stale. And this week, Daniel Jackson apparently returns. Can't tell you how disappointed I am in that. Why can't they just stick to a Lost In Space attitude and pretend the ship is ACTUALLY lost in space. Stargate writers anger me...but I keep on watching.

I've been watching it from the beginning. It's pretty good. Some eps definitely better than others.

The 3rd episode stood out as a really good one. I'm not sure if it's still on Hulu or not.

Needs more RDA, though.

Just watched Season 1, Ep 8. I thought it was really solid. Good show, i'll definitely watch the rest of the ones posted on Hulu.

The medic looks like charlize theron's sister.... Not bad....

It's a decent show... Very unusual for a sci fi show... I like the "survival" aspect of it, the being stuck away from home without resources, and the fact the 2 "leaders" hate each other's guts... It's clever enough... I could have sworn it'd get cancelled but it's back !

Have new episodes started or are they still at the mid season cliff-hanger?

Not as good as SG1, or even Atlantis...

Yep, those are the 3 chicks of SG universe. Not bad if you ask me.

I hate these shows where everyone is a 10. Because, yeah, that's realistic....

Half a shwang is better than no shwang at all.

There is a happy medium. There's nothing wrong with a 7 or 8 or two tossed into a cast.
