Love the F-1 panel...is that a custom??? Meaning, I'm not sure Ford made 'em like that...

I didn't talk to the guy but my guess is a 49 with the pickup frontend.

My dad had a '50 F-1...flathead, non synchro 4 speed on the floor. Too easy to hotwire those, so I'd place the truck in neutral, unscrew the shifter cup, take the lever with me...no tools needed. Was a cool old pickup...

Ah, down at Doheny...The red Woody on Steroids in the third picture is my Uncles car. The blue one before it was made by the same guy. The red one is the first prototype in this new series of aftermarket woodies. So what did you think? He had em down at Huntington Beach last month at that woody show. Hah...and our last name is Wood.

I went to the Seal Beach show since I had some other local family showing cars there. And I love Nicks breakfast burritos...what can I say.

I thought they looked pretty good, built on a Suburban frame. I don't know what they want for them but I wouldn't be a customer for one.

They're basically an updated "Woody" with modern upgrades. They're not for everyone, not exactly my cup of tea, the hood kind of bugs me. If I had a big ranch it would be a fun grocery getter or car to pick up folks at the airport with.

I liked the first woody, the one with the Chevy pickup front end. I don't know what he made the car from.

Huh? Morning Wood?

The chevy looks nice. I have several 53 - 56 F100s and even a 53 M100 (Canadian only Mercury truck)...

This fellow about a mile from me builds these things. I think a lot of them are all wood in from the cowl back. All he needs is the front end, cowl and frame.
