Bought a new ( to me) truck
After 10 years I'm replacing my 97 Tahoe for
 a 2006 Z71 Tahoe  Picked it up in North Carolina. Great having the Canadian dollar at par.

You will be happy with it. I have a 2000 with 466,000 HARD oilfield kms on it, still runs great. I also have a high miler 2004 Sierra which is great. Unfortunately, I think I toasted a rear wheel bearing last week.

my stepdad has a 97. he never drives, and has maybe 45000 miles on it. it is falling apart a bit from his lack of love.

The 97 was a good truck. Never any major repairs. I just replaced 2 bearings in the rear diff. as well before I sold it. I hope I have the same durability with this truck.
