nope. we are fecked because the average joe thinks it is a good idea to get drunk and run around on the field. i'd taze him myself.
or, better yet, just let him run. everyone can just cheer and no one give chase. |
Nonsense.

hey, at least they didn't kick him while he was down.

He was trespassing- he was warned, he was subdued. What's the issue? Sounds like an appropriate use of force to me.

And if he had died, like the poor fellow in Vanvouver? No doubt that he would have deserved that too.
Tasers have their place, fleeing a crime scene when he might actually escape it is appropriate. There was no danger of this person escaping, nor was anyones life in danger. If tasers were harmless it wouldn't be such an issue. I am with Dottore, but maybe we are too soft up here. |
I have no problem with the guy getting tazed. He clearly asked for it. And the value of the game stoppage should be assessed and passed on to him as well.

He had it Coming... And he got a better deal than most crooks.
They usually get to go head first into the concrete. When I was a kid (1970s) we used to get "streakers" a lot at the Cricket... (naked people running onto the field) Those were the days. :D |
