2011 5.0 Mustang review...

Review: 2011 Ford Mustang GT | The Truth About Cars

Now to go out to the garage & throw rocks at my '09 Bullitt...

Sounds like a nice step up on the engineering side, but I still prefer the styling of the 2005-2009 Mustangs.

When you were on the fence about waiting for the new one vs. an '09, I remember doing some photoshops for you of what an '11 Bullitt would look like. At the time I had just finished some seat time in my neighbor's pre-production 5.0...I wish I could have better expressed in words the improvement of the '11 over the '09, it really is a hell of a car. Not to tell you I told you so but...

Still your Bullitt is a great car, no need to throw stones at it. Rumor has it the Bullitt will be return for '12 if your so inclined

Yep...you did try to push me into a '10. But they were sill the 4.6. And I really do prefer the '09 styling. But the 5.0, the 6 speed, Brembo brakes...Oh, well. My choice was made. Silly to trade in a car with less than 4K on the odo.

I'm sure it won't be long before 16 year olds begin wrapping the 5.0's around trees. Then to see how easy or difficult the swap would be.

Vash...keep your SC...

Could make for a fun package, especially if the Bullitt is not produced for this generation....though I'd prefer it if Ford would just offer Highland Green as a paint option, giving one the ability to create their own Bullitt in spirit.
