There was a recent thread in the tech section on wire wheels. It made me curious after seeing some GT40 pictures with wire wheels.

Still never seen it, not even a photoshop.

I'm not sure that it would look any better without the white-walls. It's just that bad.

I can name a dozen cars of the same era which would look good with them, like the many older Vette's.

Go back to the thread, I photoshopped chrome wires onto a blue targa.
