This is one of many police officers that needs to pay for his crime in prison.

The men who uphold the law must also live by its code and act accordingly. If not they face the same punishment as all citizens living under the laws they enforce. Unfortunately Police officers get excused of punishment almost all the time. That said he will probably be let go from the department or put on PAID leave and will serve no time and pay no fine. Hopefully I am wrong.

Moved his arm. Uh-huh. And the cop say he thought he was going for a weapon? Didn't hear him tell the guy to put his hands up until after he'd put a round in him! The biker was sitting on his Harley waiting for the cop to come up to him (granted, his friend was acting like a fool in the background but there was another unit on site).

I'd better not say anything else or someone'll catch fire.

4) failure to obey cops commands

cop had split seconds to make decision to use deadly force. and if i were the cop i would have unloaded on him.

I didn't see his arm move in the least. Looked like he was turning his shoulders to see where the officer was behind him. It didn't look like his hand left his leg. I'd say it was a bad shoot.

well here in airy-zoney fleeing a police officer is a felony w/a penalty of 5 years.



this is your classic felony stop. exhibition of speed(8pts), if they were going over 85mph(felony speeding 8pts) drag racing(8pts), lets see they now have 24pts and here if ya exceed 8 pts in a year your license is suspended(suspended. lic-felony).

Which video did you see? That cop didn't give the guy a chance to do any of those things before he shot him in the back.

its obvious to me as well as most here, that alot here rooting for the biker really dont know how this gig works.

i know a hell of alot of cops after living here all my life. (2) biggest fears domestics and traffic stops.


these biker clowns were not pulled over for going 36mph in a 35mph zone. they escalated it to a FELONY STOP!



now try doing 100mph thru az. on I-10 or I-40 in yer p-car or bike and see what happens. i double dawggie DARE YA!

simple speeding is a MISDEMEANOR!


exceeding 85MPH IS A FELONY doing 100MPH plus is a really BIG FELONY



DITCHING A COP is like THE UBEREST OF FELONYS aside from murder which they would have been charged with also had they hit someone and killed them.



so who escalated this?????????????????????? DUH our darwin minded bikers.



if you had only that tape to rely on for info, and the clincher is HE FAILED TO HEED THE OFFICERS COMMANDS............why is it the cops fault?


cop has a felony stop and the cop was in fear of his life. and thats all it takes here for a jury to acquit.


this isnt the 1st time this has happened and probably will not be the last sorry to say. but when a suspect escalates matters, the rules of engagement change and not single one of you rooting for the poor biker can tell me they didnt escalate this with multiple FELONYS!

Guy's pulled over within about 12 seconds of being lit up.
Yes, the camera view and the Officer's view were/are different. From the camera, we could see the guy on the bike as he dropped his right hand down towards the top of his thigh area. The Officer could not see WHERE the guy was dropping his hand to........HOWEVER ......... the Officer jumped the gun (no pun intended).

I was thinking he was reaching for a gun is a whole lot different than I KNEW he had a gun.....and I for one would think that to justify the use of deadly force (shooting), that you have to be able to articulate exactly WHY you felt you were in imminent threat of death or grievous bodily harm. I don't believe that thinking a person might be armed rises to that level.

That video is disturbing.....you can immediately see the effects to the guy's nervous system, when his legs go rigid, and he falls straight down, stiff as a board.

It was a Darwin moment and the biker chose Darwin. He had a attitude that he was above the law. He was wrong.
