We added a special class for yesterday's AX - Police Chiefs

We had a lot of fun with these guys yesterday. I did course walks with each one of the Chiefs. They were all very competitive and were looking for any edge that would give them bragging rights.

Very cool! Maybe next year you can get their depts to each send their "top gun" patrol officer to duel for bragging rights.

Yes, it was a Charger.

We raise a lot of money for the Special Olympics every year. Normally, for each event, $10 from each participant's $30 entry fee is donated to Special Olympics. For yesterday's event, $10 went directly to the charity as usual. An additional $10 from each entry fee was donated to the Special Olympics in the name of the Bridgeport P.D. (the AX winner).

We raise around $10,000 every year for the Special Olympics. Before the event yesterday, the head of the Connecticut chapter showed up to thank us. It was a warm, well received and sincere gesture. She went around and shook the hand of almost everyone, then left. She wanted to get in and out before the press showed up.

We normally get between 100 and 120 drivers.

They were not that good. But, they don't do this all of the time. But, at least one got hooked. He said that he would be back next event with his Vette.
