Wife Tracker 3000
I don't believe I've mentioned that I had my wife carry my SPOT unit with her on the trip to Italy. It's an PLB (or ELB) for those of us with worrisome wives . . . I go paddling, hiking, camping, etc. anywhere I want without her worrying about it because she can track me online.
There's a track feature that keeps sending signals every few minutes or an OK feature that lets me send it manually. Also 911 (send coordinates to the GEOS International Emergency Response Center) and Help (tells family to come get me). Wasn't trying to sell these things, just explain. Here's her trip so far: ![]() It'll make it nearly impossible for her to sneak up on me and discover all of the drunken debauchery the dogs and I have gotten into in her absence.

Does it track how long she spends in conversation with tall, handsome Italian men in Venice?

My brother, dad and I were on a backpacking trip this past September and my brother brought a SPOT... we gave him a hard time about it at first (he was pressured by the wife who was concerned about our safety) but when we got back home we discovered that the entire family had really enjoyed receiving updates on where we were when, tracking our progress on the map etc.

One of my flight attendents still raves about a gent she met who handled our airplane the last time we were in Palermo. That was almost 15 years ago and she still pines for him....
