ewww.

All the lines that make a Cobra a classic have been butchered.

That's hideous... Yuck.

It looks like a hacked kit car.

Wasn't that the "New Shelby Cobra" they had on "Rides" a few years ago?

No thanks...this may sound crazy, but when the real cobras were being driven, I liked the looks of the small block models over the 427's.

Looks like a rip off copy of the Ford concept cobra done some years ago. Not the "real deal" !

I am sure it goes fast and it certainly is unique, but not to my taste

I agree, I prefer the less voluptuous models myself.

And yes, I think that was the retro model that Shelby was going to make recently.

It's not my thing, but it's not that bad. I just don't think we needed a new-retro Cobra.

Agreed, the first couple of years with the 289 and wire wheels were very nice cars. However, had Shelby not built the 427 with the wide ass, the car would have been today just about what a Sunbeam Tiger is.

I'd take one of those too.

I would also drive that. Looks like Shelby series two or whatever they called it. Olds running gear, high zoot V-8 with a blower, might even have those groovy Norhtstar heads, or whatever the Olds iteration was; didn't they use a version of that engine in an Indy car? I will give you, it certainly hit an ugle tree broadside, but would be a hoot to drive.

How would it work if you took the front wheel drive system off one of those Caddies and stick it under a 914, right behind your head? Heavier than a Subie, but mother of GOD the power.

The front end and side views look very similar to the 2004 show car/prototype

this is an interesting take on the Cobra, at least from the 'can we do it?' side of things.

According to the ad, it is a DRB-540 replica of the 2004 Shelby Cobra concept car.
The donor car is a BA-GT - which is an Australian Ford Falcon GT built by Ford Performance Vehicles (FPV).

Wait, I thought Porsche was the only company that hasn't changed their design in 40 years...
