His hand, twitchin' like a gunfighter, reaches for third gear...
After 1968Cayman's excellent efforts with his novel I thought we could, as a group, write a novel with each interested Pelican adding a sentance or a paragraph as often as they wish.
As it's to be written by a number of different people it should have lots of unexpected turns and twists. The first line.... His hand, twitchin' like a gunfighter, reaches for third gear. |

the buick's shift lever vibrating, he reached for his smokes. lighting up, the smoke soothing his addled mind, and exhaling spent smoke.
toni's jingle on his phone, he reached into his shirt pocket, the phone belting the lyrics to 'rebel yell'.

He really liked that song, so he decided to listen for a while... bluetooth pumping through the stereo. Yes...even in a '56 Buick. It's got an FM converter from the '70s

For the older woman in the street was far better looking than Toni, who he just let go to voicemail. This fox was looking for a good time. She said she had something in her pocket for him.
