So, the border patrol agent was trying to arrest one of the (human) smugglers, when one of his homies tried to stop the border patrol agent by beaning in his skull with a rock. ... but the border patrol agent dropped the
 "hard studying, good Mexican boy" with the rock. --is that about it?

Based on that video, the rock in hand was large and at close range, two reasons for making it deadly.
Never bring a rock to a gun fight, no matter how big it is.

- if they were smart they'd have a hispanic BP guy on there
- Kach the close up video does not match what the reporter said (from 3 witnesses: rocks only made it 1/2 way to BP agents) - Fox should not have shown that video even with her saying it is from years ago later on - reporter also said he can't confirm that a BP agent went over to the Mexican side; tho other reports say there were .40 shell casing there (or hey maybe they were 40 mm casings!) Well hell. I just watched the video. At one point in the video the news chick says that the video is several years old, not actually from this incident and is being shown to "make a point"

It is not disingenuous or deceptive when you clearly state it is from several years ago and is used for training. Just because you hate Fox News and can't be bothered to actually pay attention to it does not make it their fault that you misconstrue what is in the piece.
Univision has video of the actual incident, poor quality cell phone video. Bad guys were advancing on USBP agent until he started firing. Dead kid was holding his arm out, like you do when aiming a handgun, but you can't see what is in his hand.
