While the shots are loading, I thought I'd mention how radical our seats and accommodations were.

We were at start/finish.
We had breakfast, snacks and lunch.

They had these wireless scanner/monitors for us to use.
Several channels to view. In car and track side.
Also had access to radio of both officials and drivers.

We toured the pit lane and had a question and answer session with the driver and team owner.

Aside from driving the car, we had just about everything else!! :D

By the end of the race he had no hood, bumper or front fenders...

Finished poorly.

I guess right turns are harder :D

Those scanner are way cool. And way expensive to rent. But still way cool.

Denny's in the hunt. it was an off day for him.

Sweet accomodations...dayum Trek...you keep losing weight you're gonna blow away. So...was this your first NASCAR event?

Somebody told me they were versed on the SCCA/BMWCCA rule: You gotta give your competitors a coat of paint clearance. Methinks the NASCAR guys took it as leaving a coat of their own paint on the other guy's car.:D

They mixed it up...was excited to see Said run up front for a while. Tough break for Ambrose.

The TV announcers did mention something about road course racing "cup style"....
I took it to mean something like: "We don't race like weenie sporty car guys, especially during the last 20 laps"....:D Gotta admit, those guys can drive!
