My dad is a highway sign contractor. Over the years we have found some rather odd schit.... But these take the cake for sure..... Not sure what to think at all, other than being VERY disturbed.....

Those were probably done by someone taking an airbrush class, or very soon thereafter... although I am at a loss as to why they were done on stretched canvas... especially if they were gonna toss 'em.

Maybe they blew out of the back of the dude's pickup. You should advertise 'em in lost and found on Craigslist and in the local paper just to see if anyone claims 'em. Describe 'em and say they're "very interesting." Heh heh.

I love how the middle finger is smiling at you in a couple of 'em.

I'm tellin' ya... they were done by an airbrush newbie. Looks like experimentation with different masking techniques.

When an artist is involved, there probably usually is.

Sort of reminds me of the Beavis and Butthead episode where they find a photographer's equipment in some bushes and take some obscene photos of themselves and then smash the equipment. The photographer finds it, develops the film and then makes a successful exhibit out of the photos.

per my artist g/f:

"looks like something my undergrad students would do. Might be an assignment of doing different renditions of a symbol. At least they tried different ways of representing the hand."

Nothing to get very disturbed about...at least no feces were involved

The persistence of the artist is what I find interesting.
