When you remember paying 17.9 cents for a gallon of regular gasoline.

You knew what "core" was...

... I even have some I found in an old box the other day.

stomachmonkey 06-23-2010 02:45 PM

Just happened.

Two co workers came in to my office.

What are you listening to?

Richie Havens! You know, Woodstock, Freedom, classic track.

:confused::confused:

you get depressed when you realize you can relate to every post in a PPOT thread intitled "you know you're old when....."

When your favorite all time football players are Larry Csonka, Nick Buoniconti, Bob Griese, Jim Kiick, and Paul Warfield. God I loved the Dolphins in grade school!

strupgolf 06-23-2010 06:01 PM

When going "out for dinner" was a big deal, and very seldom at that.

dagriff 06-23-2010 06:16 PM

You're getting old the first time you couldn't do it the second time.
You are old the second time you couldn't do it the first time.

That great old movie on TV doesn't end the same way you remember it.

You know that cool old machine that prints as you press the keys, is called a Typewriter ( You are WAY OLD if you know that originally the person using it was called a Typewriter, the actual machine was called a Typewriting machine).

Broke my heart when Csonka left the Dolphins.

I remember Bob Beamon making that jump in Mexico City, measuring it out on the ground with a ruler, unbelievable.

You are old if you remember it being a big deal to have air conditioning in your car.

gt350mike 06-23-2010 06:59 PM

You know you are when you have to explain what is an "E" ticket ride.

I remember when someone stole my Pioneer Supertuner 8-track and I was actually pissed about it!

R K T 06-23-2010 07:04 PM

You guys and your 8 track tapes.........I had a 4 track tape player! That was PRE 8 track technology!!!!A buddy had a record player in his car that played 45s.

strupgolf 06-23-2010 07:13 PM

You're old when you liked the ORIGINAL Ford GT 40, built by Ford, failed by Ford.
