I'm drawing a blank now, but my list used to be pages and pages of completely untalented people who've done nothing to earn their fame, yet seem to be on all the supermarket rag covers or have their own tv shows. Who pays these people and for what?

Gaga's has had nothing but hit songs for the last year and a half. I think she's obviously crazy, but she has musical talent.

I have no idea. A sad reflection of our media. But I don't have to watch/read and hope they fade away into the pathetic ooze from whence they came.

Some people are famous simply because they are famous. Paris hilton started out that way.

Kardashians, no clue.

Jon and Kate, they cranked out eight kids and decided to give the world a glimpse of themselves, she's a ***** and he's a spineless weasel.

Howie Mandell was funny many years ago and can still amuse from time to time.

Howie used to be a good comedian. I had not even heard of Lady Gaga until some12 year old Edmond Oklahoma kid recently performed a song of hers on the some national TV show and the local news covered it. I don’t know who the other two are.

Howie Mandel has had a career in TV/Comedy for about 30 years. His stand up stuff is pretty good.

Whether you think he is funny or not, he doesn't belong in the same group as "reality" show nitwits.

Shows how out of touch with the world I am. I think I had heard of Howie Mandel 10 yrs. ago, but never knew he was a comedian or why I had heard that name. Now he has a game show. That's all I know about him.

I actually think Paris Hilton deserves her fame. She's built quite a franchise for herself.

I've never heard a Lady Gaga song. I know I live in the desert and only have classic rock on the car radio. But I would think I'd have heard something of hers by now, though I'm sure it's written and recorded by others. She comes across about as genuine as any other packaged pop act like the Jonas Bros. or Britney Spears, the kind of acts whose songs will never ever be heard again once their popularity has faded.

Howie was good, these days, a bit weird, but still working. St Elsewhere and he was hilarious in standup.

Kardashians -- I think T&A&sex is the answer (same as Paris Hilton, right?)

John and Kate -- people love to watch retards. I don't get the whole "reality TV" thing.

Gaga -- yeah, don't know crap about her. I guess music.

Why do they even call it reality tv? I has nothing to do with reality. Who the hell lets a camera crew into their house and follow them around all day? I read the other day that Operation Repo is a fully scripted show, based on actual cases and every single person shown is a paid actor. How does anyone take this stuff seriously? Pawn Stars is barely believable.

Howie is a wack job, period. Check into some of his personal things, like he will never touch anyone in any manner. Afraid of germs. Not even family members it seems... Am guessing he has sex in a dry cleaning bag to keep from touching his partner...

Gaga is a music making machine. we might not like her stuff, but someone does. they play the crap out of her. she has issues, "look at me!" issues. i think.

Wasn't one of O.J's attorney's the the Kardashians dad? Not sure. Just remember seeing the name. I understand the dad on the show is not there biologic.

Gaga does write and produce her music. She's actually talented. If you've watched any tv in the last 2 years, you have heard one of her songs. She's had probably 5-6 #1 hits in the last two years. Do I think she's completely crazy, and an attention-seeking whore? sure. but her musical talent is undeniable. she started out as a song writer for other "big name" pop/r&b artists.

there is a clip of brittney spears singing that "telephone" song. GAGA was just a song writer, and tried to sell the song to brittney. brittney didnt like it..GAGA became what she is now, and took that effen song to the top! no doubt, she can crank out some music. she even made christina aquilera to change her image. gaga is a juggernaut. not crazy about her or her music but there is no denying her talent.

The daughter of a friend of mine forced me to watch some Lady Gaga numbers on you-tube a while back. No question, that chick is going to go far.

I gave my wife crap for buying a Lady Gaga CD. She said listen to it, I bet you'll like it. So I took it out to the garage (where the better stereo is) and listened to it. I thought it was pretty good. I don't think I'll change from my classic rock channel or CD's, but she certainly has talent.

I would be at loss for words if I walked into your garage and Gaga was playing.
