Fishing in Port St Joe Florida

I am heading to Mexico Beach /Port St Joe on July 10-17 with my 18.5 foot Carolina Skiff...assuming there isn't oil all over the freakin place.

Plan on fishing and scalloping. I've been to the area bunch of times before, but in early Spring and Fall, never in the Summer.

Thoughts and advice.

Go.

They ran a story on a scallop guy at that location a few nights ago and everything thus far as the oil goes is okay in that locale. If your trailering, which I assume you are I'd bring along some good detergent to remove any oil that might get on the hull and put in more time on the engine flush. Have a great time.............
