Saw my first UFO....

Exactly 4:31am morning before last... I was not probed or prodded.... that is all I am gonna say....

Was it RED?

Looked exactly like a high pressure sodium street light... you know the ones that put off that yellow/orange light.... it looked the same brightness and size of one of these lights if viewed from 1 1/2 or 2 blocks away....

Perhaps what you really saw was a high pressure sodium street light about a block and a half away...

Funny that you say that... I was at the kitchen sink catching a smoke and looking out the window... My neighbor across the street has a mercury vapor light in his back yard (the ones that put out the bright greenish tinted light). His light is mounted about 5-6 ft taller than the roof of his garage... He has older oak trees in his yard that are probably 5-6ft taller than his security light (he had them topped off last year). I could barely make out the tops of his trees in the darkness against the night sky... once it dawned on me that the light I saw was about 15 degrees higher than his tree tops I knew it was way too high to be any street light... I felt immediate fear and got cold chills... I ran outside the front door and still looking at the light. It stayed on for about a second or two of viewing and went out... It then flashed twice on and off, and then stayed on for two seconds and never returned... It had no movement and did not dim as it flashed on and off (it was instantly bright and then instantly off)...

I am ex military and live close to an air port... I am very familiar with landing lights and helicopter spot lights... this was neither.... it was very eerie at the time and I have no explanation.... just a very weird occurrence....

Sorry, sorry, sorry...

We were doing a little joy riding and I accidentally but my beer down on the dash and disabled the invisibility shield.

It won't happen again.

bill..you lucky dude. i want to see something!!!

my brother and best friend did..i missed it by minutes.

next time..camera...get a camera.

futuresoptions 06-24-2010 08:56 PM

LOL, Byron I wasn't / hadn't consumed anything.... the Brady Bunch thing was funny as hell, me and the wife were laughing like crazy....

Vash, I got a camera, but it happened so quickly that I did not have time to react... even if I had managed to take a photo, it really would have just appeared to be a photo of a high pressure sodium light in the sky.... one thing I did notice though is when you look at one of those lights at night they radiate a glow around them (don't know what you would call it, an aura?) but while this light what just as bright and intense, it did not have that glowing feature about it where it was radiating light... does that make any sense?

juanbenae 06-24-2010 09:01 PM

i believe.

Sure. You might find out that lots of other people saw it, too. Some might have gotten photos or videos.

Sunroof 06-25-2010 04:22 AM

I think it was your alien neighbors heading out for another spin around the planet. You will need to tell them to at least dim the lights when heading out of the neighborhood. I know, we have the same issues here with those weirdo's down the street!
