Awesome. Something to showcase the stupidity of the members of M5 & M6 Board.com.

No, but I saw this one. It isn't that far from the truth and this is where we're going if we don't squash the eco-tard enviro-nazis.

If we had to do a Pelican v. Rennlist, who would be the guy to send from here?
Jack Olsen? or maybe Wayne in his 959...

If I could make that 2 greens at once I would... I think Wayne in the 959 would be the best choice... Unless we could get ahold of a modded new GT2.... |

Maybe we can send Jay Leno with his Carrera GT or Jerry Seinfeld?

Not sure what you are talking about... I wasn't one of the crowd posting wanting you back....
Sorry.... I'm just tired of most of the threads discussing cars end up getting the 928 drug in by you.... Some of us really don't care what you think of our cars... We didn't buy them b/c of you or anyone elses opinion... We bought them b/c we love them... You love your 928, Fine... But don't slam other members cars b/c of it.... |

There's two kinds of eco-tards Sam. You are the other kind. ![]() Glen Beck and I are going to go deep sea fishing in the Gulf. You want to come along ? After that we are going to have a few beers, and chuck aluminum cans at the enviro-nazis on the shore. Are you game ? Hey, it all in good fun, right ?

The only cars i slam are 911's, because the styling is 8 decades old.
I don't ever talk about 924's, and i rarely talk about 944's, and always in a good way. I like them. Why shouldn't i talk about my 928? Or any other 928? This IS a porsche forum afterall, and the 928 was the flagship of the Porsche line for some 17 years. If you don't like what i have to say, well, ignore works. And what's wrong with a 928 representing Pelican anyway? A properly race prepped 928 can run with anything of it's era. Anything. As far as me, my object would be to get the opponent so off his game with my mouth that i would defeat him easily because he'd be all aggravated and unfocused. ![]() PS: As far as 928's and me....you're the one that brought up both here. I'd not even posted in the thread. So, again, take it easy with the repressed man love. Last edited by m21sniper; 06-13-2010 at 06:54 PM.. |

Snipe, your car is the pinnacle of Porsche technology but it's not a race car per se. We need a true race prepped killer that dominates ANY forum. Like a 335 or GT2 or GT3 or something light and turbocharged. Someone here should have one stashed around. Think what the BMW and the Mustang guys are planning. This is war!!

I believe I've seen two people on the 911 tech board posting who own 962's.
I know nothing of Rennlist. I never visit there.

I'm pretty sure he could represent us well. Then again, Mark Anderson posts on rennlist. He has a 600+ RWHP 928 race car. Heheh |

mmmmmmmmm yeah, that's what were talking about! 600-800 shp min. around 1800 lbs in a 928. Wonder what are the rules? A true race or time trials, only stock cars or full mods? We better plan for the worst and hope for the best. I'm in TEAM PELICAN!!
crap, deadline is coming fast for the fall filming!

There is a 962 thread on the 911 tech forums. If you search through it, you will find pictures of one poster's personal 962. If I remember correctly, it was a Leyton House car.
There is no 928, no matter how awesomely modified, that could come close to the wonderful awesomeness that is the 962. It's been 25 years since they were introduced and the 962 is still among the fastest race cars, period.

Loren Beggs' car has close to 800hp on a good day iirc (it is a 911 - sorry Snipe). Turns laps at Willow around 1:16 I believe. But he may be on RL too.
edit - sorry, 860hp, 630ft/lbs of torque ![]() http://www.nine11design.com/911fpm.html Last edited by nostatic; 06-13-2010 at 09:58 PM.. |
