Well, what is it? 17 bumps on one ad or 17 separate ads? Or something else?

Here's the specific rule that disallows both:
- You may not create more than FOUR different posts at any one time, or have more than four posts bumped onto the first page of the classifieds at any one time. The reason for this is to allow space for everyone to sell, buy, and trade.

And:
- You may *bump* your ad, but no more than once every three (3) days. Ads that have been bumped more than five (5) times may be deleted.

I went thru 3 pages and found some guys pushing the limits and one rather over the limit with some 964 parts. Perhaps someone should send him a PM with the link to the rules.

The ones that just say "911 parts" with no further description, then a list of 200 parts that might or might not be available and might or might not be in reasonable condition are the BEST ads! I love those!

I get more aggravated that newbies feel the need to whine about other peoples for sale ads:mad:

In OT... The mods cannot hear you scream...

I think the Pelican mod's strike a very good balance.....I've been on forums that if you ask a question that has already been asked; banned for 2 weeks and sent to the READING ROOM...........Another (KTM), one bump pulls your add......A bit extreme....

This place is run a little looser, but not like the snowmobile forums where anything goes.........

Not an easy job

+1. Also, not sure how it work but its probably volunteer based and you are caught between the famous... There is at least two side to every story.

Just before the Montreal Grand Prix, I jokily made a remark to another Pelicanite about going there and slap him silly... if he was not going to try a Poutine while visiting Montreal. The next morning I got a PM. I replied with a full explanation of what I meant (referring to an old cartoon) and we'll get together at next year Grand Prix ($500 for 3 days Gold Tickets in A Stand) :) of course the Poutine will be on my tab.

What is a Poutine, I though you would never ask :D:D:D

Not sure if everyone got the word but Noah was on CNN last night or the night before being interviewed. He is pretty active in the middle east situation so considering how f'ed up the administration is in this area betting that he has been busy.

P.S. I was hoping that you would see this. I'm still looking for the Yosemite Sam cartoon where he talks on the phone with "Fifi from Montreal..."

Two guys from Quebec open a Poutine only restaurant in New York and were doing good for a while but it's now closed. I think they are still there but operate from a chip wagon truck.

I did introduce it to some guy in Hawaii a few years ago, after I saw him eating some breakfast concoction that he put sauce on it...

Extract from: Blacque Jacque Shellacque - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Legacy

Blacque Jacque is one of the more obscure Looney Tunes characters, but he has his share of fans. Canadian television networks in particular put his shorts in regular rotation (on shows such as The Bugs Bunny and Tweety Show), and the cartoons have an unusual amount of Canadian references for the time period in which they were made (for example, Bugs claims that he received a call from Jacque's girlfriend, "Fifi from Montreal"). In the video game Bugs Bunny: Lost in Time he appears in various levels as an enemy to defeat, he was voiced by Billy West. Although Blacque Jacque did not appear in Looney Tunes: Back in Action, he was featured in the film's video game adaptation stealing paintings from the Louvre and being defeated by Bugs Bunny. Jacque was voiced by Maurice LaMarche

Still looking for the video :D:D:D
