Did not get to see any Dutch games. Spain looks very solid, germany had a hard time sustaining any action in the spain half of the field. Hows this, pulling for the dutch, expecting the spanish.

Spain is just so organized and all their players seem to be on the same page...They're working as one unit! Regardless, I think its going to be a very physical and tough fight..

I already have my 'Holland' shirt on- which was delivered by some authentic Hollanders just last week; will probably not take it off until after the game. It goes without saying that I will not be accepting visitors or making any public appearances until taking it off and showering. I can't believe I'm actually watching soccer. I must have a brain tumor.

Isn't that illegal in Georgia? After watching Germany dismantle England and Argentina, I thought they'd cruise past Spain and on to victory in the final. But Spain was clearly better. As much heart as Holland has, I can't see Spain losing. I don't care who wins, but I'll be watching.

Did you know? This is the first World Cup final EVER that will not involve either Germany, Italy, Brazil, or Argentina.

Either one is fine by me. No wait, let it be Spain. I can't vote for the Dutch, on principle... (J/K)

I attended the Germany Ghana game and left absolutely shocked at how lacklustre they (Germany) were - they didn't deserve to win that game. After that they thoroughly redeemed themselves against the likes of England and Argentina, and I was happy to write the Ghana match off as a fluke. What I saw last night was a very sad spiral down to the very same level, and even though I would love to have seen them in the final I simply don't think they deserved it. They were comprehensively outplayed by the Spanish in all aspects of the game, and simply didn't feature at all. As for Holland; I really think they have played their hearts out so far, and have a spot in the final to show for it. However, the last 30 minutes against Uruguay was nothing more than a desperate and shambolic attempt to hang on to a lead. If they go into the final with that sort of style, they stand absolutely no chance against the Spanish. I'll certainly be rooting for Holland, but I will not be surprised if they get beaten by Spain on the night I'm afraid.

Willem, are most South Africans rooting for the Dutch team, due to their major influence on South Africa's history?

20% of the workstaff here are Dutch, the other 20% German. Plenty of Spanish people too. We're still getting along though. May the best team win.
