I'm up for food at the SM pier sunday or monday night probably. whenever.

It seems like the schedule is:

Sunday night - dinner in SG Valley (probably Phong Dinh - Phong Dinh Restaurant)

Monday night - food/drinks in Santa Monica. Historically this has been at Big Deans (Big Dean's - Santa Monica | Urbanspoon).

But I'll leave it to Rick to confirm/deny either on. There are other Chinese food options for Sunday, and other bar options in SM.

Those two sound great to me, but I'm open to whatever's easiest for folks. I'll be on the bike, so parking is easy for me. I'm in MDR Tues. night too, most likely.

Monday would be better for me. Tuesday even better, but other than the Chinese food, I'm easy.

If you want a shi shi bar/restaurant, Cafe Del Rey in MDR is pretty cool. At least used to be - haven't been there in a few years.

Slight chance I'll be with a client kind of late on Monday. So Tues. might be best.

I've eaten at Nobu. Sushi's okay.... I'm willing to give it a go again.

Oh man, the best sushi I've had in ages was in Pasadena across from the Best Westerns on Colorado. It was called Gin and there was a line outside waiting in the rain on a Sunday night. I was just getting over food poisoning when I went there and I ate it right up.

The sushi in the San Fernando Valley is surprisingly good, too. There must be about 1-2 sushi places per block along Ventura Blvd in Studio City/Sherman Oaks/Encino/Tarzana.

Had dinner with Nostatic, his son and lovely gf last night. It was killer.

I made up for it with unhealthy food today, first at Carney's in Hollywood and then at Johnnie's in Marina del Rey.

So who's up for some beer and grub tomorrow night? I can meet anywhere. Will probably be done with work early afternoon and then pay a visit to Pelican Parts HQ.

I'm up for beers anywheres around the beach cities.

Was a festive dinner. For those that can't make it out, the carcass in the middle was a catfish earlier in the evening.

I have rehearsal in NoHo from 7-10 tomorrow so I probably can't make it. I need to leave the westside around 5:30 to make sure I can get there by 7.

Mmmmm. Double chili cheeseburger with chili cheese fries? My all-time favorite burger joint. I didn't do diddly today (workwise). Should have met up with you there.

UPDATE

Joeaksa is on the 405 as I type, en route to Long Beach. When he's done there, he said he'd come up to Santa Monica to meet us for dinner......if it's more than just me. He and I can hang in Phoenix anytime. So anyone who can make it to SM tonight, sing out so we can get Joe to show instead of heading right back to Phoenix. Who's with me?

Speeder is in. 6:30-7:00 at Dean's on the SM Pier. Schumi? Noah? Anyone else?

I sent a text to Alarick (Noah930). He's out in Bakersfield or at least was earlier today.

Works out great for me as I have an appointment at an Aston dealership up that way later this afternoon. See you at Deans at around 6:30 gents.
