LA Pelicans - Who wants to grab some beer next week?
 

I think I'm going to miss Nostatic's gig on Sat., but will arrive in town probably early Sunday afternoon, 07/18. I'm there for Sun., Mon. and Tues. nights and riding home late Wed. Who's up for some beer and trash talk on any of those nights? Buehler? Anyone? Orange whip?

Maybe next time. On Sunday AM I fly to Detroit.

Where in town will you be? Sunday i've got the boy, Monday night I have rehearsal in NoHo - could do something late if people are still up (11pm or so).

I'll probably stay in Pasadena Sunday night, as that's where my first appt. is on Monday. Might stay in Santa Monica the next two nights, not sure yet.

I'm potentially down. I don't make plans more than two days out. If you're in Santa Monica monday night, you should make it down to the beach cities and enjoy the Hermosa nightlife.... 20 dollars cheaper and 20 years younger than the Santa Monica crowd :) :)

Ok, trip is firmed up. Staying in Pasadena Sunday night and in Marina del Rey Mon. and probably Tues. I can meet anywhere and would be up for some good real Chinese food or beer drinking at the very least.

I work right near Marina del Rey. Could get together Monday evening, but need to cut out before 8pm to hit class in Santa Monica. Could join back up if people are still around. Real Chinese means SG Valley, so that is a drive from MDR. Close to Pasadena though - might be able to hook up Sunday night for food, though I have the boy in tow.

How about Yunnan Garden or New Capital Seafood in SG Sunday night?

Yunnan garden sounds good. I'll have the boy in tow though, so it'll be rice for him. I don't think they do any plain chicken. We're likely going down to San Diego late morning, back in the afternoon. Ping me and we can see about meeting up.

The other option is this Vietnamese place in SG that does a baked catfish and you roll your own spring rolls. Freaking awesome...

Hmmm, Work is getting pretty busy but I'm pretty sure I can do something in the Santa Monica area. Please keep me posted!

For Chinese on the West Side, there's also Fu's Palace over by Robertson and Olympic.

Sounds like a plan. If people are getting together early evening in SM I'll swing by. I just need to cut out about 7:40 to make class.
