DEEP WATER HORIZON oil flow stopped!!!!
Part of the testing, but the cap valve has shut off flow...live pics on Fox news...keep your fingers crossed....

I've been watching it off and on for days now. Very interesting, but I wish they had a typed running commentary on what they were doing on each screen as it happens. |

this is a temporary thing - they still need to get the relief wells in there and pump concrete
re a month ago - I'm sure they worked as fast as they could - it also needs to be tested before trying it -- last thing you want is for the cap to crack some rock strata or something anyway, it is a significant improvement |

if so, do you know what kind? here in volcano land, they use satellite based devices to measure suspicious bulges on mtn sides - but they can't get a GPS read under the ocean |
