UconnTim97 07-19-2010 02:00 PM

We just watched that movie this weekend. It was much better than we expected. :)

Shawn 357 07-19-2010 02:00 PM

Where the shots are placed on the shirt it makes you look like your lactating.

cashflyer 07-19-2010 02:09 PM

Not what I was expecting.

onlycafe 07-19-2010 02:11 PM

doubletap is rule 4.

Rule 2: Beware of Bathrooms: Really not just bathrooms any good. apocalyptic zombie survivor should know better then going into a bathroom, small closet or any other small room with only one way in or out. Only thing stupider to go into then a bathroom is a movie theater. Lots of places to run around before you get eaten.

The 32 Rules of Zombieland - HorrorMovies.ca

In the movie Double tap is rule #2.

There are some lists online where it's listed as #4, but it's actually #2. ;)

dang Bill I thought I was gonna see two hotties.

Hugh R 07-19-2010 06:14 PM

Billl, Just curious, are you proficient with those swords, I mean as in trained well, or are you just a swing and hack guy?

m21sniper 07-19-2010 07:20 PM

I have several years of Chinese Kung Fu training (haven't really kept up with 95% of it), including some basic weapons training (staff, singlehanded longsword, aka 'tai chi' sword) that i have largely kept up with over the years. I also have infantry bayonet training, which is directly applicable to my spear or a staff.

Of course i'm getting up in the years now, so i'm not as fast as i once was, i reckon.

If i had to actually pick one of my melee weapons to fight with, i would pick the spear (far right),

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...e/58477944.jpg

...in a heartbeat.

BRPORSCHE 07-19-2010 07:28 PM

I want you to fall from the sky and do a monkey roll in front of that white couch...with spear in hand.

If you do that, then you will be a Pelican god.

If you ship me a nice white couch, i just might do that...

Honestly, the thread was supposed to be about the cool t-shirt...

Hugh R 07-19-2010 08:07 PM

Ok, fair enough, you know more than a street thug. BTW, I had hand-to-hand in the USMC incluidng bayonet work albiet almost 40 y/o, and I can tell you that even in the USMC, I didn't think it was any where near enough to be called anything close to "proficient". I hope we do a show in Philly again (last was a little bit of National Treasure), I'll buy you the first round.

m21sniper 07-19-2010 08:17 PM

Would love to hang with you and offer you a ride in the 928 my friend. :)

Army bayonet training was very basic, just a handful of moves. But if you actually practiced those moves until you could do them fluidly and automatically, they were also extremely lethal.

Butt stroke, slash, thrust (or any combination thereof) is an extremely devastating sequence if it's done with enthusiasm and skill. Replace the rifle with a spear, and it's even more viscous.

If you think thats a woman with that scruff on her face than I think you need to upgrade the chicks your seeing, no offence snipe but you'd make an ugly chick and I'd wear that shirt almost anywhere I go.
