Just had my 1982 sc out thru the Black Hills of South Dakota! 5020 miles in six days!! The only problem I ran into was slowing down for the Corvette convention that was down for the week!!
First long "driving holliday" my girl has come along on, was suprised how fun and comfortable the long journey was!! (both pictured here!) Share some cool road trip stories please guys/gals!! ![]()

SD is one of the state's I've never been too, clearly I've been missing out! I love road trips and my favorite ones have always been in a Porsche (sometimes a fake Porsche):

I'm headed for a 6,600 mile trip starting in late August. Over half will be in a 356, which I frankly think will be a no-brainer.
I've hit SD a few times before so I'm headed back through ND. Should be great. Post more pics!

Being from the flat end of the state I love going out to the Black Hills. Here was one of my trips there. The Corvette rally is a really big event starting in Sioux Falls and they caravan out to the Black Hills for the rally.
Some really great roads and beautiful scenery. Check it out. Black Hills twisty's

My parents just got back from that Corvette convention and had a great time in South Dakota. There were 20-25 cars from the Central Oklahoma Corvette Club there. FWIW...I can almost guarantee it was not them holding you up.

Here is my 74 Targa park in Carmel, CA. Great town (really it's more like a hamlet) to hang out in.
