guilty... I bought 50 shares at $18.78. Not much money, just figured I'd see what it will do.

The game was to ride it for a day. 17 to 24 is a great one day take. Don't confuse Tesla with Google.

I'm curious to see what they do....

The Roadster still interests me... I have driven one on a short stint. Its deceivingly quick, but it lacks the "feel" no noise....

Me in yellow....

crap, crap and more crap with a bunch of wasteful gov't subsidizing sprinkled on top and served with a side of 'let's just ignore the fact that electricity is already in short supply and is often produced via coal'.

It is a neat car. I took to photo of Sid, and drove the car as well.

For the money I can buy a 911 Turbo and have money left over for gasoline for years.

Seems that every tax-payer in the US has 'stock' in Tesla motors. Tesla pulls in $465 million government loan to build Model S electric sedan -- Engadget

. .. a half a BILLION of our tax dollars! . .and then they grab at an IPO.

Locally, there was a private business(famous deli with good overpriced food) that got a $400K grant.
The gist of the story is: A fund designed to clean up neighborhoods gets paid to an already succesful business to expand.

Apparently they just make up the rules as they go along.

The Ann Arbor Chronicle » Zingerman’s Project Seeks Brownfield Status
"The law allows local municipalities to set up brownfield redevelopment authorities and to use various financing mechanisms to promote the cleanup and redevelopment of contaminated properties.
It was later amended to include sites that are designated as “blighted” or “functionally obsolete” – Zingerman’s is seeking the “functionally obsolete” designation."

It's not about electric cars or solar panels or saving the planet. It's about drawing a fat ass salary from a company designed to fail which runs on gov't loans/subsidies.

****ing bull****.
