JetBlue $28 fare, not really $28?
So, I was looking at a flight from FLL to Nassau and I know Jetblue has $28 or $48 flights for that leg on certain days.
My curiosity being piqued, I tried to book it. Lo and behold, taxes & fees were ~ $90. I guess I really shouldn't have been surprised, but I was. I probably would have felt better if they advertised a $90 flight + minimal taxes. Anyway, I didn't book the flight...I guess I'll just stick to my AA Advantage miles. |

Not to forget the checked bag fee, carry on fee, pillow fee, seat belt fee, drink fee, potty fee and so on...
Thats why I fly SouthWest...

I've had good luck on Jet Blue but there are others who have had to sit on the tarmack for three and four hours, so I guess it depends...

I look at the cities Southwest flies in & out of and I don't really get excited about the destinations (NY, SF, & SeaTac are the exceptions)...

Funny... I have problems finding cities that SW does not fly to. I go to S. Ohio every two years and simply use SWA to fly to Columbus and drive the 90 miles to my destination. Yes its 70 miles further but the cost of the ticket is over 50% cheaper...
