I don't think every 1972 911T had MFI. Some did, yes.

Even at that price, he'll regret selling it.

Wow thats a lot of silicone and glaze on the paint work! Careful parking in the sun for too long or else it will be back to brown colored rubber and less shine all around.

I'll pass, too many tickets for not having the front license plate on the car.

You'll have to admit that the car showed well. I saw it somewhere before today, but I can't find it or remember where it may have even been listed. It looked good then too.

An S is worth maybe double in the same condition. I think the 90K days are over.

All USA 1972 911T's had MFI...europe had carbs. CIS came along during the '73 model year, so early '73 911T's had MFI, "73 1/2" 911T's had CIS...

Maybe not...I don't regret selling my '72S...hard to speak for others unless you know the full story, Shaun.

I regret selling the first '72 I owned. It was a nice as this one... just less Armor All. I only got $24K a couple of years ago.

The houndstooth on this car is a nice touch. Sounds like the seller is taking a page from the CaliforniaClassix play book with the narrative. Lots of words, little content.

For close to a year now, I've been thinking about selling my basketcase S. I can get a fair price for it from a great buyer. Although not 100% confirmed, I'm fairly certain it's a one of a kind/spec car, and know I'll regret selling it a few years down the road.

Alternatively, I could hire a new office manager tomorrow if I sold it.

+1 on being a flipper.
But even if you believe his novella, he bought the car with 67k on it, took it for a PPI (post purchase inspection), and now he's selling it with 67,125 miles on it. Something damped his enthusiasm. I wish the buyer well.

I am sorry, I don't get the front licence plate reference?

Very nice car though

It was a reference to a previous thread discussing license plates on the front of cars. It was a joke, I probably should have put it in green font.
