McLAREN MP4-12C at Pebble Beach
I was not all that wild about the looks from the photos but I really like it's look having seen it.

I think it SUCKS...
That I will never own one! Can you actually put stuff in the front? Are those filter on the steering rack?

That looks like such an "engineered" car. I love the 997 because it is incredibly well built. This McLaren looks to be a really well made and thought out vehicle.

Yep. I thought the same. Looking at the mule from the front, you can tell that it was designed from the ground up so that any chassis can be made right or left-hand drive.
I also think that they know their market pretty well. Showing off the car at Pebble Beach and Goodwood puts it right in front of potential buyers. I wonder if they took orders at both events?

Nice, but I wonder why they did not use a center seating position this time.

The F1 had a center seat only because they didn't want to integrate certain weighty things for crash safety. Putting the driver in the center avoided having to integrate those technologies that would have slowed the vehicle, plus it gave it an F1 feel. This is the McLaren answer to the 911Turbo/GT2/GT3/GT3RS. I would suspect this vehicle to beat the ZR1 around the ring but come in at around GT2 prices.
