I am disgusted. Thank goodness for video footage that can be used against the cops and in favor of the victim. I hope they cops are fired and the attorney for the victim gets him decent financial restitution.

Why are police forces full of these out of control cops?

Investigation group are all ex police officers and will not come down on their own.

Police in US and Canada think they are above god and can do what ever they want.
No wonder the public starts to disrespect the police force.

On the face of it, this looks terrible. We can't hear sound but unless he was threatening their lives, it's unjustifiable. And even if he was, the punches from the cop look personal as opposed to professional.

This is never going to change until the honorable officers step in to stop the thugs. Citizens don't stand a chance. Of course there are those that will say he should have kept his mouth shut. I do not agree with that POV.

Yeah dude, I know what you mean. Down the end of my block there's this big gay dude walks his little ****zus all the time, crosses the street in front of my house without EVER looking both ways.

Did you watch the entire video (the unedited one provided by the news station)? You couldn't see where the idiot was given at least two opportunities to shut his yap and leave the scene?

1st off why was he even detained?

What I see is tall cop (TC) explaining situation to short cop (SC) while also talking into his chest mic. Seems he is running detained guy (DG).

DG is on the phone with someone.

SC goes over to DG for what seems like his side of it and gets it.

TC joins, SC leaves, TC hands DG his ID back and what looks like a citation.

DG seems pissed and takes a picture of TC. You can see the phone go up and TC's clipboard comes up to block it.

Mayhem ensues.

If the reason is DG offering to apear in court for a driver wrongly ticketed then DG should never have been detained in the 1st place.

And yes Kevin, I see at least one cop overstepping his authority and another seemingly getting dragged along for the ride.
