This has come up before. Research some older threads for some good links.

I love this commercial. I've had a version downloaded for a while, but wondered if there was a version that I could got to stick on my ipad. Shell has copies of the commercial and the making-of... online that you can download. They also have another cool commercial of a Ferrari F1 car being refueled by a plane (yes, fake, but sort of cool).
Shell on TV - Shell Motorsport Thats "Circuit", "Making of Circuit" and "Refueling".

Cool commercial, but ...
Don't suppose it would be too much to ask Shell to do a similar commercial using Porsche? ![]() ![]()

LOL, great marketing concept.
They convince people that shell gasoline is higher performance and therefore worth more money, when it's really the same stuff everyone else is selling. As a side note, 350 shell gas stations in 5 western states are exclusively supplied with gasoline from Tesoro refineries and 300 more will soon be added to that list. In fact Tesoro owns many of them outright. They pay shell a royalty to use the brand name because suckers will pay more just because of the sign. Same thing goes for many other brands also. There is nothing wrong with Tesoro gas, it's the same as anything else out there. But lots O'people think its different because of the shell brand on many stations. In some places (like SLC) they have shell and tesoro stations on the same block. I can imagine people driving past a tesoro station so they can pay 7 cents a gallon more at a shell station, and the gas will soon be coming from the exact same place ![]() Oh, and if you really care about your car you'll pay extra for 76 "top tier" gasoline because it's different and better! Remember Super Shell with Platformate? 60's advertising ..TV commercials showing cars fueled with Super Shell with Platformate making it through the finish line - a paper barrier with a Shell logo, while those cars fueled with a competitor's "ordinary" premium gasoline without Platformate ran out of fuel miles from the finish line......
Well there was only one refinery around here ESSO (now just a tank farm).... Shells trucks used to fill up at it and the drivers used to climb up on top of the tank truck and with a eyedropper add the platformate. One drop for every 1000 gals.......have to have truth in advertising ![]()
