Attorney/Member input needed..... Landlord/tennant issue
In the process of evicting my tenant in 2 weeks who runs a child care business. She is not communicating with me as to when she will be leaving the building.I am interested in running the child care but not sure when she will start telling them she will be closing her doors.
We went to the court to get an eviction date and my smart attorney ended up getting another day as tenant wants time to negotiate it further ![]() My question is,would it be appropriate if i start handing over information to these families that we will continue offering offering the child care services.I want to distribute the informative brochure as these clients are leaving the driveway after picking up their kids ? I don't want get their information so that we can contact them later. Of course i own the property ? The issue is,i don't know what she is telling the families about her stopping the services and yet i want families to know that their will be another child care here in this facility as soon as this current child care closes,PLEASE ADVICE ? Thanks |

The attorney should advise you on posting pay or quit notices, and should have already filed an unlawful detainer complaint to be served to the tenant.
