Los Angeles Apartments, Orange County Apartments, and San Diego Apartments Or craigslist. Look for Culver City, West LA, Westwood, or Santa Monica. Could also extend to Hollywood adjacent, Venice, or Marina del Rey depending on your budget. | ||

Good luck. If you want a decent place with secure garage parking, hope you're budgeting around 1500-2000 a month or more.

Ideally, pick a place within about 5 miles of Wheel Enhancement. Life's a bit more pleasant when you don't have to fight traffic daily.

Naw, I had a reasonably nice 1br place in west LA with my own garage for $1300. Plus there is a glut of rentals right now so the market is soft. Odds are you can negotiate a lower rent than advertised, especially if you sign a year lease.

Lots of nice places in Playa and Marina, but you're going to pay a good deal to have a private garage. I live 2 blocks off the sand in Hermosa Beach, I have a 2 bedroom apartment with a 2 car garage that is $2500/mo. I split it with a roommate. It's rough to try to swing any decent sized place on a single income

I'll be great to see your sweet 993 rollin the canyon runs with the locals! Culver City is less then 10min from PdR, let me know if you need someone to scout a location for you Cheers, Jason

I'm in Westchester, too, in a 3/2 house. We're moving out around 11/1... could consider getting the house and a roomate (or two)... 3K, two car garage, nice yard. Great landlord, too. PM me if interested. I've been through a lot of places in LA, and the best way to find a place is driving around, or craigslist, IMO

Save your cash... Weather out here is mild and plenty of freeway underpasses... when picking out a cardboard box be sure to get one of the waxed ones that repels the rare rain shower... and be careful when picking out a shopping cart, some of them have the rear wheel lock thing going on.
