Question Motorola DROID X --

Looking at the Motorola Droid X - super highly rated...but damned Verizon was out of them right after they came out July 15th.

Anyone have one?

How does the entire concept 'work' with buying an unlocked phone from EBay and blending it with my current Verizon plan/transfer from my current HTC Ozone (Wondows Mobile) to the Droid X?

Does Verizon get pissy / will they transfer HTC info from my HTC to the Droid?

In short what kind of practical real life experience am I in for?

I got the Droid2 the day after it came out...wish I would have went for the X. Seems to have a much better multi-media interface than the Droid2

I've had a regular Droid since they came out. If you can live without a real keyboard, the Droid X should be great. I would take one any day over an iPhone.
I don't think you need to 'unlock' phones with verizon, since you won't be transferring from one network to another. I think you just take it in and they activate it for you.

You can import v-cards (*.vcf) in android, which I believe are pretty standard. So if your HTC can export them, you should be fine.
