Monza - (spoiler alert)
Ok, I've only made it through the first lap so I don't have a full spoiler yet. But wtf was Hamilton thinking?!?!?

Hamilton was thinking he could gain another place. Looked to me like Alonso closed the door and steered into him (after playing bumper cars with Button).

Was it? I just saw a red car and assumed it was Alonso. I guess Massa would make more sense given the starting positions.

That's what I said LOL
Great race, monza is always so fast it only takes the smallest of events to change things...... I actually cheered when lewis crashed out as my money is still on webber for the championship, the next few tracks certainly will favor the redbulls ![]()

LH is an immature little brat with some driving talent. He will continue to pull these bonehead moves and ruin his chances at the championship lead until he grows up one day.

LH has more than a little talent, but he does make some bonehead mistakes. At least he owned up to this one fully. Her certainly didn't blame anyone but himself (at least in the interview during the race).
What was up with Vettel's "my engine is going" radio call? More interesting team orders? What a crazy season... |

Yep. RB was simply hiding team orders...

If Red Bull is now ordering Vettel to make way for Webber, that would be interesting, considering how committed the team seemed to be to their homegrown young driver. I am rooting for Webber, would like to see the "unluckiest man in F1" get a championship. But with McLaren and Ferrari coming on strong, and the past Red Bull mistakes, might be too late for Webber.

No fake team orders at red bull... Vettel had a dragging brake on that lap that slowed the car down and made then engine strain against it. It went away next time he used the brakes and they released.... Besides if that was a team order, they would not have let Vettel do 52 laps on his "soft" tires and beat Weber in the end!
Why ascribe to cheating what can be explained by stupidity/mistakes/racing incidents etc ? ;-) Agreed, Lewis' move on Massa was stupid, and he admitted it himself. It's like they trip over their own feet to make the championship interesting this season ;-) Still rooting for Weber but he's too inconsistent ! Button maybe, I'd love to see him beat Hamilton after all the ribbing he endured when joining McLaren ! |

I've got no bromance with Alonso, but that guy was perfection this weekend. He was *exactly* where he needed to be when he needed to be there. Not a wheel put wrong the whole time. I'm in absolute awe at the concentration that must take.
He said before Spa to expect some of the front runners taking gambles, and that's exactly how he screwed himself. He then said Ferrari needed to be at the absolute top of their game from here on out, and that's exactly how he won it. One of the most deserving wins of this season. Talk about acquittal! And Lewis - wtf, over? (I do have a bromance with LH, just for full disclosure). |

Every race I say Hamilton will crash out on the first lap. He didn't disappoint me at Monza.

Are the next races better suited for the Red Bulls or the McLarens or the Ferraris?
