Anyone recognize this song or band?
From the PPOT Detroit thread... I don't know what it is about this song, but it just fits with the guys and bikes. Very raw...

Is she the same one at the end?
BTW - I had my son use his iPhone to "listen" to the soundtrack. It hardly ever fails but it doesn't recognize this song.

Definitely Rancid. Can't pin down the song, though...here's one of their more famous songs:

That's not Rancid - unless it's a b-side or something with a guest singer, different producer and a completely different writing. Which is entirely possible knowing them. But in this case I'm 99% sure it's not them.

my tin ear thought early Cramps...the bikes cover the lyrics so much I couldn't get a good riff to look it up.
After another listen, not Cramps, I'd lean to Rancid.

I've got lots of lyrics, but they aren't anywhere on the web.
"good morning says the boss" at the beginning I think the repeated lyrics are "is that your dream then" or "is that your dreamland" "sitting on your nice hard chair watching a red machine making dog food that's your job waiting for the day to end" "into the back room with a plastic bag in your hand. They found you two days later"

Maybe it's a local band with an original song? It does sound like British punk rock though.

I spent about an hour last night trying to figure this out. It was an internet mission and I failed. But I did end up adding a few Rancid tunes to my library. I certainly tried though.

Haha, I too failed my internet mission and messaged the guy about the music. Do you think he's getting a lot of those messages from Pelicans?

This vid is starting to go viral. I think this is a local Detroit garage band.
