Kevin,
I lost both of my parents a year apart around 20 years ago. It gets easier with time but takes a while. Still at times something pops up and I think "I should call them about this" then remember that this is not possible now. At least you guys got to spend some good time together on the way back to Missouri. Remember the good times you had with her and remember that she would not want you guys moping around. Joe A

Hey Kevin.
I just heard about your Mom and I'm really sorry for your loss. Again, remember all the good times. In the end all we have are our great times with those great people in our lives. Many of them go way, way too soon. |

When my grandfather passed several years ago, Wayne (Oh HaHa) sent flowers to the funeral home. I'll never forget that...

It is tough to lose your Mom. Someone who cared for you for your whole life and suddenly she is gone..it is a hole that has been opened up in your soul and all the emotions come flooding out. The only solace you have is that her suffering is over and now you have to carry on. What you are left with is just how much you loved her, and all the memories. You will carry that for the rest of your life.
