Well I got that surgery out of the way....

Today I hurt like hell, and yesterday the post op drugs were fun, now on to rest and recover.

Today I woke up and it was stinging quite a lot. Coffee, breakfast, 4 ibuprofen later I'm feeling better.

Seriously, I only had a single, but this seems to be a fast healing surgery as long as you rest. I've been active, too active really, but I can also feel a definite improvement every day. Give it a week with lots of rest and little activity to keep flexible and we should both be AOK.

You are a smart man!
It is too much to expect to move around much in that first week.
Fresh pineapple is suppose to reduce scar tissue and promote healing say my South African friends.
Hope your recovery is trouble free.

Ya know man, I am 42... and I never "discovered" the blues till about 5 days ago... I mean I knew about the blues... heard the blues, but never really gave it much thought or attention... I was listening to an interview with Jimi Hendrix though and to who he listened to yada yada and I said what the hell, I had been watching videos on blues riffs and the sorts and I figured I would start looking at different blues artists videos.... was absolutely blown away... it was an epiphany moment for myself and I have had nothing but blues riffs and progressions stuck in my head ever since....

Will definitely give it a listen to... for some reason I am really liking the more sad sounding music than the upbeat stuff... I am thinking that it is because it sounds more complex to me for some reason.... I have been practicing my riffs quite a bit and my pinky finger feels like it is about ready to fall off...
